Show Millard Halterman Dies, Services Conducted Millard Halterman, 70. died! Sunday, Feb. 26 of natural causes. Funeral services are being be-ing conducted this afternoon (Thursday) in the Parowan Third Ward chapel and burial will be in the Parowan City cemetery. Mr. Halterman, a rancher in Cedar Valley for many years, was born in Parowan on May 22, 1890, a son of George Samuel and Phoebe Madora Benson Hal-j terman. On July 15, 1914. he married Pearl Jones of Enoch. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and had been prominent in Boy Scout and 4-H Club work. He is survived by his widow and the following sons and daughters: George Samuel Halterman, Hal-terman, Mrs. Tone (Lynettel Fife, Mrs. Donel (Barbara) Hunter, Cedar Ce-dar City; Millard J. Halterman, West Covina, Calif.; Donald Eu gene Halterman, LaVerkin; Mrs. Max (Thora) Goudge, Pasadena, Calif.; Richard J. Halterman, Mrs. Earl (Suzanne) Spencer, Salt Lake City; Glen Lee Halterman, Parowan; Herbert Frank Halterman, Halter-man, Mrs. Herbert (Joyce Corry, Weed Heights, Nev. Also surviving are 38 grandchildren, grand-children, and two great-grand-children. |
