Dr. Keys was well known in Utah, having lectured In Salt Lake City, Vernal and St. George before coming com-ing to Cedar City. He was also a member of the special summer staff at the Utah State Agricultural college col-lege In Logan some time ago. He was 54 years old. The body of Dr. Keys, was sent Saturday to Oakland, California for funeral service and cremation. Mrs. Keys had been unable to come to Cedar City from their home In Berkeley) California, because of Illness Ill-ness of their son. Dr. Keys was born in Kansas on May 13, 1883, a son of James and Alice Dodge Keys. He Is survived by his widow, Marian Wiley Keys, and a 12-year old son, Wiley Keys. He was a former Rhodes Scholar, and had studied or worked In ten countries of Europe, Asia, Africa, and America, and holds degrees from Chicago, Columbia and Oxford Ox-ford universities . i I |
