Show Thorley "Jim" Cox dies at New Castle Tremonton and Mrs. Paul (Beth) Hill of Gramby, Missouri. Funeral services were held Tuesday Jan. 22, 1980 at 1 p.m. in the New Castle LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Norman Laub officiating. given by Grant Messerly, the speaker was Lester Wood and remarks by Bishop Norman Laub. The benediction was offered of-fered by Jim Cox and Rod Coxvl dedicated the grave. Interment was in the New Castle Cemetery under the direction of the Spilsbury & Graff Mortuary. Everard Thorley "Jim" Cox 68 died Jan. 19, 1980 at his home in New Castle, Utah. Born March 22, 1911 in Cedar City to Everard Alvin and Anne Aldridge Thorley Cox. Married Patricia Fern Beacham Dec. 1, 1967 in Cedar City, Utah. Jim had retired as a mechanic for Utah International Corp and was a member of the LDS Church. He had lived in Hamilton Fort, C edar City and New Castle. He is survived by his wife of New Castle, 2 daughters and 2 sons; Mrs. Clair (Anita) Adams of Bountiful, Mrs. Bert (Colleen) Olinger of Jaconita, New Mexico, Roddy Patrick Cox of Tempe Arizona and James Allen Cox of Woods Cross, Utah. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren a brother Carl Thorley Cox of Cedar City and three sisters Mrs. Clint (Anne) Mills of Woods Cross, Utah, Mrs. Earl (Jennie) Dyler of i I m FVUKARDCOX The family prayer was offered of-fered by Clair Adams with Jeanne Jones playing the prelude, postlude music and Alvin Cox gave the invocation. in-vocation.
