Show New Castle By NORMA CHRISTENSEN Record Correspondent A lovely garden reception was held Friday night, July 10, in honor of Mark and Alice Gentry, who exchanged vows that morning in the St. George Temple. Mark is the son of Ellis and Lorraine Gentry and the reception was held at their home. All of the Gentry children were home for the occasion except son Leland who is in England on a mission for the LDS Church. Family members here were Mr. and Mrs. Terry (Laura) Bird and small son of Bennion; Mr. and Mrs. Kent (Vickie) Loveridge and children of Lehi; Cindy Gentry of Lehi; and David Gentry of Las Vegas, Nev. Alice's brother, Carl Hagberg of Sandy, has been visiting with the Gentry family for the past two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. James Creel and little daughter of Killeen, Tex., have been visiting at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. George Beacham and Mrs. Fern Cox. James is a nephew of George and Fern. Mr. and Mrs. James Christiansen and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Anzalone traveled to Manti where they enjoyed the pageant that was presented there. Their children stayed with various grandparents. grand-parents. A Hart reunion was held last week at Navajo Lake. Attending from here were Charles and Shirley Hart and their children; Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hart of Provo (during the school year) and Prescott, Idaho (during the summer); Mr. and Mrs. Keenan Hart and little daughter of Cedar City ; Mrs. Nellie Gai Curtis of Salt Lake City; and Amy and David. Also attending were Trusten and Clara Hart and their daughters, Julie and Terry; and Mr. and Mrs. Gam (Brenda) Jorgensen and baby son of Cedar City. Other Hart brothers and sisters in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Alan Hart of Redding, Red-ding, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Vern (Mary Lou) Malley' of Hacienda Heights, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hart of St. George; and Mrs. Margie Lloyd of Tucson, Ariz. Most of the family members drove to Cedar City to be on hand for the blessing of the new little son of Gam and Brenda Jorgenson. Boyd and Norma Christensen were also involved in a family reunion for three days on Cedar Mountain, for Norma's family. Attending At-tending were Mrs. Lucille Deem, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Engstrom and family of Huntsville; Mr. and Mrs. Bob Steele and family of Lindon; Mr. and Mrs. Scott Christensen and family of Salt Lake City; Don Christensen of San Francisco, Calif.; Tom and Becky Redding and children of Sandy; and Kelly and Denise Christensen of Cedar City. Another sister, Mrs. ParCeil Valora and children of Teton, Idaho, visited at the Christensen home before the reunion and had to return home before the event. Troy Christensen returned home with his sister Becky to visit for two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Kirk (Laura) Fullmer of Circleville, visited last week at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hulet. Debbie and Julie Evans, of Logandale, Nev., are visiting for several days with their grandmother, Mrs. Katherine Christensen. |
