Show j WEDDING BELLS. t ' j McCornick-Salisbury. On Wednesday night Right Rev. Bishop Scanlan united in marriage Miss Genevieve, McCornick, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. McCornick, Mc-Cornick, and Robert Walker Salisbury. The maid of honor was the bride's sister. sis-ter. Miss Anna McCornick, and Mrs. Arthur Bird, Mrs. O. J. Salisbury, jr., Mrs. L. B. McCornick and Miss Maud Fitch were ribbon bearers. O. J. Salisbury Salis-bury was best man. Miss Anna McCornick was attired In a beautiful creation cre-ation of yellow satin and chiffon. The gown was made with a long court train and was trimmed with ruffles of cream colored lace. A coronet of black jet completed the costume. Miss McCornick McCor-nick carried a shower bouquet of yellow chrysanthemums tied with streamers of gold gauze. A gown of pompadour velvet was worn by Mrs. Arthur Bird, the gown being with point lace and made with the court train. Mrs. O. J. Salisbury's robe was of magenta silk in dancing length, and was beautifully trimmed in lynx fur. Her ornaments were a rope of pearls. A handsome gown of white satin embroidered in gold, was worn by Miss Fitch, and was effectively set off by topaz gems. Mrs. L. B. McCornick wore a charming frock of robin's egg blue silk, handsomely hand-somely embroidered In black swallows, and pearls and diamonds were worn. All of the ribbon bearers wore wreaths of Chinese lilies, while their bouquets were of the Chinese lilies effectively combined with roses in the shower effect. ef-fect. The bride followed on the arm of her father. She Mas charming in a white, high-necked satin gown, en traine, and wore a long tulle veil caught to her head with orange blossoms blos-soms and a diamond sunburst. The ornaments worn by the bride were a dagger of diamonds and pearls, the gift of the bridegroom, and a heart of rubies ru-bies and pearls, a gift from Miss Fitch. She carried a shower bouquet of orchids orch-ids and lilies of the valley. The bride w-as met in the bay window of the drawing room by the groom and his best man, O. J. Salisbury, jr. The drawing rooms were profusely decorated decorat-ed with American beauty roses and yeiioy chrysanthemums. A wedding supper followed the ceremony and the dining room was beautifully decorated with long-stemmed ping roses. The table ta-ble held a crystal basket of the beautiful beauti-ful flowers and was covered with a lace piece. The mother of the groom, Mrs. Margaret Blaine Salisbury, wore an elegant gown of oyster colored satin, with diamonds. Mrs. W. S. McCornick, mother of the bride, wore a handsome white lace, and Mrs. Galligher of Omaha, Oma-ha, Neb., aunt of the groom, wore an elegant lavender velvet, with silver embroidery. Mr. and Mrs. Salisbury left later for the east. They will sail from Boston, Mass., on the Celtic on Thanksgiving day for the Mediterranean Mediterra-nean trip by way of Egypt, and return here early in May, to make their home in the old Downey home on East South Temple street.
