Show Wedding Bells. St. Patrick's church was the scene of a quiet but pretty wedding Saturday evening. Aug. 22, when Miss Katherine Mulligan and Thomas Shannon pronounced pro-nounced the vows which made them man and wife. Rev. J. P. Carrigan, pastor of the church, officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Mulligan, and has been very popular in the Catholic young set ever since coming the Denver. On their return from their wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Shannon will be at home to thei friends at 3023 Race street. . Miss Mabel E. Sullivan, one of the attractive young women of the west side, and Thomas Halpin of Salt Lake City were united In marriage at St. Elizabeth's church Tuesday morning. Aug. 25. The ceremony was performed at nuptial mass by Rev. Father TVul-stan, TVul-stan, O. F. M., in the presence of the immediate family and a few Intimate friends. After mass a wedding breakfast break-fast was served at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Sullivan. Sul-livan. Later Mr. and Mrs. Halpin left for their future home In Salt Lake. |
