Show I OBITUARY. j I ; Sullivan. The sympathy of many friends is extended ex-tended to Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Sullivan of Eureka, who buried their 2-year-old son. Alexander, last Wednesday. The baby was only i'l for a short time, and his death is a terrible blow to the loving lov-ing parents. He was a bright, winsome boy, with all the sweetness and beauty of babyhood in his handsome little face, the very Benjamin of a family of J lovely children. The funeral occurred from St. Mary's Cathedral, with Rev. Father Ryan officiating and delivering the funeral sermon, which was an eloquent elo-quent and splendid effort that made a deep impression on -all present. Many friends attended from Eureka and this city. Four young boys, Robert Lynch, Courtney Lynch, James Sullivan and John Sullivan, were pall-bearers. The music was rendered by the Cathedral quartette, with Miss Agnes Ryan the soloist. |
