Show I PUEBLO. : (Correspondence Intermountain Catholic.) Pueblo, Colo., Sept. 4. During the early part of last month a number of the representative Catholic young men of Pueblo formed a club among themselves them-selves for fun and general amusement and called it the O. F. F's. The officers are President Henry M. McCarthy; secretary, Lawrence Langdon: treasurer, treas-urer, Arthur J. O'Brien: chaplain, John McGovern; sergeant, Fred Mahoney. The club already boasts of twenty members in good standing. They gave a dance last Thursday and were complimented com-plimented by a very large attendance. - - . Mrs. and Mr. James English sadly mourn the loss of their new born babe. . Mr. Al Cassidy, representing the Kelly Shirt company, of Denver, has been spending the past couple of weeks in Pueblo. j John Kretsehmer and a small party of friends who are enjoying themselves j in the mountains are expected back ' home soon. The social given last Thursday evening even-ing at the elegant residence of Mr. Fitzpatrick by the' ladies of St. Patrick's Pat-rick's was a grand success in every particular. The attendance was very large and the net receipts are expected to reach at least ?300. . c Miss Etta Klutschmer who has been visiting her friend Miss Lola McFeeley at Cripole Cr:jek has just returned home. Mr. Longinatti of the Cheii'tain force says Tom Connors hasn't been doing as good work lately. Mr. George Y eager and wife, -ho was Miss Mary Cirlile, and one of Pueblo's noted belles seven years ago, are here from Missouri visiting J. M. Carlile and other relatives. Rumor has it that the popular Charley Carlile is soon to become be-come a Benedict. ! i St. Patrick's Parochial school opened Tuesday with an attendance of over 200 and a great many more of course wiil enroll before the end of the week, all of which speaks very well of the school. Mrs. T. J. Morgan arrived home Tuesday from an extensive visit to California and the coast. Mr. Morgan does riot now speak;so abruptly as he did last week. f.' v A Dr. Luke McLean, one of the most enthusiastic admirers of the Intermountain Inter-mountain in Pueblo, suffered sore de- feat at the hands of his friends last I Monday at the Democratic primaries.
