Many of them have been baptized bap-tized and are practical Catholics. The Mission schools are attended by loO children. The boys are taught by the Jesuit Fathers and the girls by the Sisters Sis-ters of St. Francis. The government pays for 50 pupils and Mother Catherine Drexel for 30 pupils. The Bureau of Catholic Indian Missions, Washington, pays for the others. Mother Catherine Drexel built both the convent and college buildings at a cost of about $50,000.
