A large and representative meeting j of the friends and sympathizers of the gallant Roers was held at Miners' Union i hall on Sunday afternoon. The object j of tl-i1 meeting was to form an organization organi-zation and to devise seme plan by which subscriptions might be raised to assist the Roers in their grand struggle strug-gle with their English oppressors. There were present at the meeting representatives trom the two divisions of the A. O. H., the Sons of Herman, Kreiger Verein, the Canadian Institute and Australian society. An organization organiza-tion was effected by electing the following fol-lowing officers: President, James Ma-her Ma-her ef the Western Federation; vice P resident, Mr. Arnolel of the Kreiger Verein; secretary, Maurice Hartnett of ihe A. 0.
