Sugar beets are a farm crop that pays the farmer well, that builds important im-portant food manufacturing industries, indus-tries, offering labor to factory workmen, work-men, as well ris, farm hands, and bringing a great deal of business and money into tho community. The farmer who properly prepares his soil and takes proper care of his crop, can realize a net profit of $100 to $300 per acre, with a guaranteed price for h.is beets. What most interests all the people is that overy acre of sugar beets raised, pays out to the community, through the farm and the factory, from $150 to $400, or two or three times as much as wheat or hay, according ac-cording to the yield.
