Show Pioneer Woman Is Buried at Mayfield Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Anderson An-derson of Mayfield was held at the Mayfield meeting house , last Sunday afternoon. Services were conducted by Bishop E. V. Bunderson and several sev-eral others made impressive addresses. ad-dresses. .A special choir rendered several sev-eral selections throughout the services serv-ices which were impressive. Mrs. Anderson died following an operation on one of her limbs. Some two months ago the woman, who was 7 0 years of age, fell, badly bruising her leg. Complications set in and vlt. was necessary to perform the operation. oper-ation. The advanced age, together with the serious condition of the woman following the amputation of the limb, is given as the cause of death. Mrs. Anderson. Was born in Sweden, Swe-den, coming to this country with the early pioneers, following the handcart hand-cart brigade. She settled in this county and has resided here practically practi-cally all of her life. The deceased was a member of the L. D S. church and v;as faithful in herj belief. She is survived by two sons, John Pfeter Anderson and Carl Hyrum Anderson, and one daughter, Mrs. Ida Thompson. |
