During the working period Mrs. Ray Metcalf gave a reding, "Missing Girls." The hostess served refreshments refresh-ments at 4 o'cluck. Mrs. Niel Sorenson entertained a few friends at cards last Saturday afternoon. At C o'clock delicious refreshments were served the gues'.s. Dr. and Mrs. J. A. Hagan were host and hoBtess to a few friends at a. social gathering Monday evening of this week. Cards were played and late in the e-vening refreshments were served. Mrs. O. II. Ilalverson was hostess to some thirty friends at a progressive progres-sive five hundred party Friday evening eve-ning of last week. The contest, for the prizes offered was keen and the victors for the first prizes were Mrs J. E. MetcaU and J. M. Knighton. The "booby" prizes offered went to Mrs. George Ilalverson and Ernest Halverson. Refreshments wore served at 10 o'clock. Mrs. Ira Overfelt entertained the members of the Ladles' Aid at her horns Saturday afternoon of last week. It was the annual election of officers of the organization and Mrs. J. P. C. Norman was chosen as president pres-ident for the comflig year and Mrs Caroline Peterson was elected as secretary-treasurer. Following the business busi-ness session "500" was played for a short. time and Mrs. Caroline Peterson Peter-son won first honor while the second went .to Mrs. Libby Peterson. At 5:30 Mrs. Overfelt served her guests with refreshments. . |
