Show Storm in Southern Illinois. Evansville. Ind. The storm that swept southern Illinois Thursday night was the worst in many years. On the farm of William T. Garner, near Texas City, 111., Edgar Overton, his wife and child, and Daniel Stall-ings, Stall-ings, an employe, were instantly killed when their house was blown down. A girl named Carlisle, who lived with the Overtons, is probably fatally Injured. At Wasson, 111., the storm leveled a number of mining camps, killing Jesse Mason and seriously seri-ously injuring several others. |
