Show Funeral of Elizabeth Roberts Judge A. N. Cherry and Mayor Joseph Christenson were the speakers at the funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Roberts Rob-erts held at the residence last Sunday afternoon. Each spoke feelingly, pay ing great tribute to the life of the deceased. The singing was furnished by a mixed double quartet, in the selections se-lections -'Rock of Ages" and "Nearer to Thee." The services were conducted by Bishop E. L. Swalberg, Counselor Joseph A. Larson offering the opening open-ing prayer and Elder N. C. Myrup the benediction. Rev. A. P. Haydon of the Presbyterian chapel pronounced the dedicatory at the cemetery. Mrs. Roberts, who died Thursday-evening, Thursday-evening, May 6,1915,after a prolonged illness is survived by two sons, Howard How-ard and Erwin, both of whom are married and reside in this city. Her loss is also sadly mourned by a number num-ber of brothers and sisters, Reuben, Benjamin and Julia Christen-, s'en, Mrs. P. A. Peterson and Mrs. James S. Baxter, all of this city, and a sister who resides in Montana. |
