The Aglaia of Ogden has completed the year's literary work, but has called a' special business meeting for June 3rd. Miss Yardley's librarian's report at the Literary Liter-ary club Friday was a gem. It was witty, caustic and stimulating. The Ladies Literary has resolved to do the honors and pay the bills of the annual reception to State Federation visitors, all by itself. This in honor of Mrs. Denison, the president of the G. F. W. C, who will visit the Utah Federation next fall. The Literary has decided not to continue Its casli prizes for original story work, and to offer but a single prize for some article the value of which shall not exceed ?10. Modest aspirants for the coveted honor are hoping it won't be a medal. Mrs. Kelsey, Mrs. Ritchie and Professor Eaton will act as judges. The Cleofan has conformed to the suggestion of the Federation and holds its annual election in March instead of at the close of the club year. The Authors' Club closes the season with its annual election of officers May 27th. The Reviewers have acquired the happy art of combining literary and social features. The Monday Mon-day meeting with Mrs. E. O. Lee was made espe- daily noteworthy by Mrs. Adams' clever review of I "Lady Rose's Daughter." Mrs. Adams considers 1 Mrs. Ward's latest work as well worthy of atten- I tion as a phychological study, but does not class I it with that author's best work. Mrs. Adams also I calls attention to the amusing incongruities of il- 1 lustration in the popular edition. H Mrs. Gould B. Blakely is the new president of I the local branch of the P. B. O. Society.
