Show The Rvfc of a yoting Man. There is an insurance company in the United States, having its main offices in New York, that is the greatest financial institution in the world, the Mutual Life Insurance company of New York. Its agents and its agencies are innumerable, and it is one of the few great companies in the world that faithfully and persistently rewards the men who hustle for its best interests. The latest promotion pro-motion it has effected, that is of interest to Salt Lake and Boise people in particular, and Utah and Idaho in general, is the advance given Mr. Alma D. Katz. Mr. Katz has been made general manager for the company for the State of Idaho and the districts in eastern Oregon, with headquarters head-quarters at Boise, and it is a position that any man, especially a young man, can feel proud of. Tho promotion takes effect January 1st, and Mr. Katz will leave immediately for his new field of operations, though it can scarcely be called new, for he has been at work in Idaho for several months past, and the States are now in such close touch with each other that it will not be like going into an entirely new field. Such recognition at the hands of the Mutual Life is a great honor, but Mr. Katz has earned it, and it is just another case of the distinction that finally comes to the young business man who hustles. The position commands a handsome salary, and rarely comes to so young a man. Mr. Katz entered the employ of the company two years ago, and within a year was made district manager for Idaho, Ida-ho, where his business for the year past is beyond all precedent in that State. Alma Katz has always been prominent in business busi-ness and political circles here, and is well thought of by business men. Ho is well connected socially so-cially and officially, and his name stands for "hustle." |
