Show WALKER BANK PROMOTIONS I At a meeting of the board of directors of M Walker Brothers, Bankers, this week Louis H. M Farnsworth was elected to succeed the late M. H. M Walker as president of the institution. E. O. M Howard, who has been one of the vice presidents H of the pioneer banking institution, was elected ' M senior vice president to succeed, and J. II. Walker, H assistant cashier, becomes vice president, sue- M ceeding Mr. Howard. H Louis H. Farnsworth is one of the best known M financiers of the state and has been connected M with the institution he now heads since his boy- M hood. It was forty-five years ago that he was H employed as a messenger and collector. During M the almost half century of work with the bank H ho has been successively messenger, bookkeeper, M teller, assistant cashier, cashier and vice presi- H dent. Mr. Farnsworth is a native of Utah and H was born at Provo, the son of Moses F. Farns- M worth. He has been a resident of Salt Lake M since he was six years of age. M Mr. Howard's promotion to first vice president M follows soon after his recent election to a vice M presidency in the organization. J. H. Walker is H the only son of the late M. H. Walker and has M been associated with the bank since he was a M boy. fl |
