Show Area v Obituaries Gail Contes KINGSTON - Gail Brindley Coates, 64, Kingston, died Sept. 29, 1981 at her home in Kingston. She was born Jan. 18, 1917, Draper, to Arthur and Lois Walbeck Brindley. She was married to Cyrus Charles Coates, Jan. 9, 1936, Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died April 27, 1969. She was active in the LDS Church, having served as president of the Kingston Ward Relief Society and YMMIA. She retired after 32 years as postmaster in Kingston. She had served as president of the Better Homes Club in Piute County. Survivors: son, daughter, Douglas C, Mrs. Jack (Betty Kae) Gleave, both Kingston; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren ; foster son, foster daughter, Mrs. Calvin (Louise) Benson, Peach Springs, Ariz.; Guy Bitsilly, Tohatchi, N. M.; mother, Kingston; sisters, Mrs. Ruben (Opal) Torgerson, Mrs. Ivan (Wilma) Torgerson, both Koosharem; Mrs., Herbert Herbert (Regina) Torgerson, Iona, Ida Mrs. Scott (Beth) Gleave, Antimony; Mrs. Afton (Carol) Blood, Angle. Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the Circleville Second Ward chapel. Friends may call at the family home in Kingston Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m. and at the ward chapel in Circleville after 11 a.m. on Friday. Burial will be in the Kingston Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield. |
