Show rX7)bkuars Rosa IV terson Kosu G. Peterson Roas Goulding Peterson, 90, died Sept. 20, 1979 in a Salt Lake City nursing home. She was born July 18, 1889, Henrieville, to George Joseph and Lydia Marion Pinney Goulding. She was married to Bertram! Peterson, May 31, 1911, Panguitch; later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died Feb. 7, 1946. She lived 45 years on a ranch near Boulder and has resided in Salt Lake City since 1956. She is a graduate of University of Utah and taught school in Boulder, Teasdale and Salt Lake City. She was active in the LDS Church where she was a Relief Society president; YWMIA president; ward music director for 20 years and was a teacher. She was a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Survivors: sons, daughters, Mrs. Ernest H. (Golda) Jackson, Teasdale; Mrs. Edson (Iona) Alvey, Escalante; Mrs. Thomas D. (Lapreal) Spencer, Boise,' Ida,; Mrs. Clifford M. (Lorna) Shelby, Redding, Calif.; James M., Murray; Joseph C, Centerville; Bert D., Salt Lake City; Garth E., Hunter; 23 Grandchildren; 38 greatgrandchildren; brothers, sisters, Vernal, Phoenix; Gloran, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Forest (Cora) Munson, Murray; Mrs. Carl (Jessie) Nelson, Los Angeles. Funeral services were Monday in Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary chapel with Bishop George E. (Buck) Young of the Richfield Second Ward, officiating. Ernest H. Jackson offered the family prayer and Arvonne Whittaker played prelude and postlude music. Sheldon Peterson gave the invocation. Speakers were Bishop Young, Franklin Hansen, Don Spencer, and Ber-trand Peterson, Music included quartet composed of Joseph and Pamela Jackson; vocal solo, Edson Alvey and medley of songs by Arvonne Whittaker. Dee Whittaker offered the benediction. Burial was in the Richfield City Cemetery where Thomas D. Spencer offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Allan Aldham, Jimmle Peterson, Don Spencer, Kevin Shelby, Joseph Jackson, Dee Whittaker. Honorary pallbearers were Vernal Goulding, Gloran Goulding and Ernest Hall. Pearl Itomine CIRCLEVILLE-Amanda Pearl Dobson Romaine, 76, Circleville, died Oct. 2, 1979 in Panguitch hospital. She was born Oct. 11, 1902, Circleville, to Thomas and Amanda Gee Dobson. She was married to William Romaine, Nov. 4, 1924, Junction; later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died Feb. 4, 1954 She was a member of the LDS Church and served as a Relief Soceity teacher for many years. She was a teacher in the Primary and MIA. Survivors: sons, daughters, William, Salt Lake City; Robert Gary, Grants, N.M.; Linden, Dee, Mrs. Clark ( Joeline) Dalton, Mrs. Hart (Patrician Ann) Whittaker, all Circleville; 28 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Josephine Bird, Circleville. Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the Circleville First Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the chapel after 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Circleville Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield. Lcc Deuel Lemond "Lee" Deuel, 75, Richfield, died Sept. 25, 1979, at a Provo hospital. He was born May 25, 1904. Escalante, to George Amos and Melissa Shurtz Deuel. He married Zola Roberts, May 29, 1939 in Panguitch. She died June 30, 1975. He was a member of the LDS Church and a retired employee of Georgia Pacific Gypsum Company. Survivors: son, daughter, Robert Lee, Glen wood; Sandra Deuel, Richfield; three grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Agnes Luken, Orem. Funeral services were held Saturday In the Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary Chapel with Bishop Terry J. Anderson officiating of the Richfield Eighth LDS Ward. McKay Roberts offered the family prayer. Connie Roberts played prelude and postlude music. Glen Ogden gave the invocation. Speaker was Elmo Christensen with remarks by Bishop Terry J. Anderson. Music was a vocal duet by Lloyd and Barbara Sharp, Bishop Terry J. Anderson offered the benediction. Burial was in the An-nabella Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Devan Roberts offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Mike Roberts, Rhett Roberts, Von Durfee, Blain Roberts, Arnold Dudley and Gerald Luken. |
