Show , , ....L.ww.- AREA OBITUARIES WHforcl Clnrk CANNONVILLE Wilford Clark, 89, died Sept 30, 1976, at his home. Born Feb. 28, 1887, Luna Valley, New Mexico, to Owen Washington and Harriet Adair Clark. He married Ethel Henderson, Nov. 29, 1911, Salt Lake LDS Temple. He owned and operated a mercantile store in Cannonville for many years. He served an LDS mission to Germany in 1908. Stake high councilman for 10 years. Ordained patriarch Nov. 4, 1956. For past 13 years he had been an ordinance worker in the St. George LDS Temple. Survivors: wife, sons, Kay, Glen Canyon; Doyle, Cannonville; Dwain, Kenneth, both Salt Lake City; Sheldon, Tooele. Merlin, Spokane, Wash.; 17 grandchildren; brother, Marion, Cannonville; sisters, Minnie Smith, Henrleville; Rose Johnson, Isma Henderson, both -Salt Lake City; June Clark, Burbank, Calif. Funeral services were Monday in the Cannonville Ward chapel with Bishop John Clele Fletcher, conducting. Merlin Clark offered the family prayer and Elva Clark played prelude music. Vaughn Twit-chell offered the invocation. Speakers were Kay Clark, LaKay Quilter. Michael James Clark, George Thompson, Bishop Fletcher. Music included selections by a quartet and a selection by Shauna Quilter. Warren Henderson offered the benediction. Burial was in the Cannonville Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Marion G. Clark offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Kay Clark, Dwain Clark. Merlin Clark, Sheldon Clark, Doyle Clark, Kenneth Clark. Ethel Hutch TROPIC Funeral services for Ethel Reynolds Hatch held Saturday in the Tropic Ward chapel with Bishop Franz Shakespear, officiating. Or lan Reusch offered the family prayer and Judy Chynoweth played prelude music. Stanley Mecham offered the invocation. Speakers were Daryl Shumway, Malen Mecham and Bishop Shakespear. Music Included selections by a ladies chorus; vocal solo, Herman Pollock and selection by the Mecham Sisters. Lowell Mecham offered the benediction. Burial was in the Tropic Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Larry Wright offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Carnell Hatch, Jerry Bybee, Greg Pollock, Neil Richins, Dorr Hatch, Jr., Dennis Wright. Honorary pallbearers were Basil White, John Ruesch and Leland Pollock. |
