Show Betrothal Announced Mr. and Mrs. Kirkman of Magna announce the betrothal and approaching marriage of their daughter, Pauline, to Mr. Kenneth Cameron, formerly of Panguitch. Kenneth is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Cameron of Magna, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Talbot of Panguitch. The prominent couple are both serving on the M Men and Gleaner Councfl of the Oquirrh Stake. Pauline i Gleaner representative, and Kenneth is chairman of th Council. The bride to be is a formtr LDS College student; the groom elect is a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, a graduate of Tropic High School, and for mcrly attended the University of Utah. ENGAGED Miss LaPrele Porter Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Porter of Hatch announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, La Prele, to Mr. Jerry Anderson of Salt Lake City. The couple are planning an early spring wedding which will be solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Wed In Salt Lake City Temple DAVIS ALDER Miss Dixie Davis and Mr. Lee Alder were united in marriage on November 22nd, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. C. Davis of Panguitch; parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon L. Alder of Weiser. Idaho. The newlyweds are both attending the BYU in Provo. Mr. Alder has completed a two year LDS Mission to the Western States. Attending the wedding at the Temple were the parents of the bride and the bridegroom, his sisters, Mrs. Bob Smith and Miss Lillic Alder. Mr. Albert Powell who was best man, and Mrs. Marie Hancock. A trousseau tea was held Saturday, Nov. 23rd, at the home of the bride's parents. Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Alder, Lillie ana Murna Alder, of Weiser, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Worthen and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Rigby of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Matt Cropper of Deseret, Mrs. Fern Haycock of Brigham, Mrs. Marie Hancock. TALBOT HATCH Mr. and Mrs. L. J Talbot of Panguitch announce the marriage of their daughter, Janice, to Mr. James H. (Jim) Hatch, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. V. Hatch of Panguitch. The young couple were married on November 15, 1957, in Nevada. They are making their home in Cedar City where Jim Is attending the CSU. |
