Show ami mammons Thaddie Shirleen Blais PANGUITCH Funeral services serv-ices for Thaddie Shirleen Blais were held on May 12, 1998 in Panguitch at the Panguitch 4th LDS Ward Chapel, with Bishop Shawn Taylor, a brother, officiating officiat-ing and Bishop Kelly Holman presiding. A family prayer was offered by John Taylor, a brother and prelude and postlude music was played by Polly Bourgeous, an aunt. The invocation was offered by Waunda Taylor, her mother and the Panguitch 4th Ward Choir sang "The Lord's Prayer," directed di-rected by Paul Hathcock and accompanied ac-companied by Polly Bourgeous. Tributes were given by Rhonda Taylor Mosley, a sister and Helen Melzer, a friend. Shirleen's. children, chil-dren, along with Cindy Williams, Florence Hathcock, and Manly Brinkerhoff, all friends, sang, accompanied ac-companied by Polly Bourgeous. Victoria Chessner, a friend, was a speaker and gave an intro duction to her tape, "The Lord Is My Shepherd." Remarks were made by Bishop Shawn Taylor, a brother, and the Panguitch 4th Ward Choir sang "Battle Hymn of the Republic," with the congregation congrega-tion singing the last verse. Pallbearers were Philip Vincent Vin-cent Blais, John A. Taylor, Shawn Taylor, Ty Nephi Taylor, Tracy Feltner, Kim Tebbs, John Smith, and Tom Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Ed-sil Ed-sil Bourgeous, Aulvie Bourgeours, Ordith Bourgeous, Glenn Smith, Omer J. Blais, Raymond Blais, Terry Smith, and Glendon Smith. Interment was at the Franklin City Cemetery, Franklin, Ariz, on May 16, 1998. The dedication of the grave was offered by Edsil L. Bourgeous, an uncle. Carl Joseph Wilson, Jr. Carl Joseph Wilson, Jr. died Tuesday, May 4, 1998 in Las Vegas, Ve-gas, Nev. He was born Mar.. 3, 1949 in Kellogg, Ida. to Carl Joseph and Bette Lou Wadworth Wilson. He married Deborah White of Las Vegas. Ve-gas. Joe was a veteran of the Vietnam Viet-nam War in the Navy. Joe, Deborah, Debo-rah, and their son David were managers man-agers of the restaurant at Tod's Travel Center in Panguitch from 1992 - 1996. At the time of his death, Joe was a chef at a casino in Las Vegas. He is survived by his wife, Deborah; sons Carl J. Wilson, Ri-alto, Ri-alto, Calif.;- David Wilson, Las Vegas; daughter Crystal; mother Betty Lou Wiecek and brother Robert Rob-ert Wiecek, both of Henderson, Nev.; sisters: Karla Jo Clark, ' I ; A 1 L 3 Joe Wilson Cambria, Calif.; Maria Klukovich of Henderson, Nev.; and Katherine Madlin of Carpenteria, Calif, and six grandchildren. Burial was in the Veterans Cemetery in Boulder City, Nev. The family prayer was offered by Dahlin Ackerman, a nephew and prelude and postlude music was played by Na Non Bulloch, a niece. The invocation was offered by Chame Dalton, a great-nephew and Melissa and Jason Millet, a great-niece great-niece and nephew, sang "Angels Among Us." A tribute was given by Bret Whi taker, a nephew; Heidi C. Wilkinson, a great-niece,' sang "My Heart Will Go On," and William Wil-liam "Bill" Crosby, a nephew-in-law, was a speaker. Remarks were made by Bishop Michael Dalton and the benediction was offered by Garfield James, a nephew-in-law. Pallbearers were Clint Acker- man, Hance Christiansen, Chyenne I Mfflett; Tyler Whittaker, Tommy: S'lldweeks, and Darin Bell. Honorary pallbearers were Calvin Cal-vin Holfeltz, Rodney Christiansen, . Kenneth Christiansen, Willis " Lester, Jim Bell, Eugene Sudweeks, Layne Dalton, Leland Millett, Brad Ackerman and Kenneth Kennedy. Interment was in the Junction Cemetery with military rites performed per-formed by the VFW Piute Post 7561. The dedication of the grave was offered by Ronald Ackerman. Twila Schow Porter at" Leming ESCALANTE Funeral services serv-ices for Twila Schow Porter "Pat" Leming were held Thursday, May 14, 1998 at the Escalante 2nd Ward LDS Chapel, with Elder Don Coleman officiating. The family prayer was offered by Arthur Loeffer and prelude and postlude music was played by Susan Su-san Wilson. The invocation was offered by Charles Porter; a musical selection was sung by Amanda Porter, "Momma, A Rainbow," accompanied accompa-nied by Kathy Porter and Mavis Munson gave a tribute. Remarks were made by Elder Don Coleman and Kathy Porter and Randy Porter played a piano and violin duet, "You'll Never Walk Alone." The benediction was offered of-fered by Cal Porter. Pallbearers were Andy Smith, Kim Porter, Chuck Porter, Sherril Porter, Brian Jeffers and Arthur Loeffler. Honorary pallbearers were Lynn Porter, Randy Porter, David Porter, Joe Smith and Roy Peck. Interment was at the Escalante Cemetery. The dedication of the grave was given by Calvin Schow. Compassionate services were rendered by the Escalante 2nd Ward LDS Relief Society sisters.
