Show Funeral services for Suzanne Owens Schow, 30, of Panguitch, were held Tuesday, Nov. 26, at 1 p.m. at the Panguitch 1st LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Jon L. Torgerson officiating. Steven King offered the family prayer and Bishop James Hatch the invocation. Prelude and postlude music were provided by Barbara Orton and Christine Littlefield with two musical selection performed by the Panguitch Tri- ABGA BDVOAKDES V A Elizabeth "Lizzie" Barton TROPIC Elizabeth Mecham (Lizzie) Barton, 94, of Tropic, died Sunday, Dec. 1, 1991 in a Provo hospital. She was born in Tropic Aug. 23, 1897 to George Henry and Nancy Ott Mecham. On May 26, 1920, she married Claude Leon Barton in Panguitch. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. She was widowed Dec. 28, 1950. An active member of the LDS Church, she served as secretary of the Sunday School for 25 years and was excellent in the fields of genealogy gene-alogy and temple work. She also enjoyed crocheting, needlework, embroidery and quilting. She is survived by one son and four daughters: Lyle Barton, Orem; Mrs. Layton (Florence) Barney, Hatch; Mrs. Vern (Fonetta) Barney, Richfield; Mrs. Melvin (Doriene) Weeks, Seattle, WAsh.; and Mrs. Richard (Margene) Miller, Orem; 26 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; and several great-greatgrandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband and two sons, Leon Claude Barton and Loral Jay Thelma N. Brandstrom ANTIMONY Thelma Nielsen Brandstrom, 86, of Antimony, Anti-mony, died Friday, Nov. 29, 1991, in Panguitch. she was born in Richheld to Ole Peter and Mary Jorgensen Busk Nielsen on May 4, 1905, and married Erik Jalmar Brandstrom in Portland, Ore. on June 27, 1943. He died Feb. 8, 1970. Thelma was a bookkeeper for Fred Meyers in Portland for many years and had lived in Antimony for the past nine months. She is survived by two brothers and four sisters: Ruben Nielsen, Glcndale; Jack R. Nielsen, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Reed (Ilene) Reynolds, Benjamin; Mrs. Don (Dellareen) Thompson, Tacoma, Wash.; Mrs. Marcus (Marguerite) G leave. Antimony; An-timony; and Mrs. LaVar (Reeda) Tanner, Overton, Nev. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 3, 1991 in the Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary Chapel in Richfield with LDS Bishop Layne Blood officiating." The' family prayer was offered by Ruben Nielsen and an invocation invoca-tion by Merthel G leave. A lovely tribute was offered by LaVenda Moore. Closing remarks were given by President John W. Yardley and then by Bishop Jon Torgerson. The benediction was offered by William Savage and Ned Owens dedicated the grave at the Panguitch Cemetery. Ronald Schow ESCALANTE Funeral services ser-vices for Ronald Schow, 78, were held Friday, Nov. 29, 1991, at the Escalante First LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Myron Cottam officiating. offi-ciating. A family prayer was offered by Marlow Schow with an invocation by Daniel Spencer. Prelude and postlude music were provided by Susan Wilson. A vocal trio, composed com-posed of Deon Alvey, Geraldine Liston and Marlene Haws, sang two songs while Theron Jensen performed a vocal solo. Lynn Schow offered a tribute to Dad and both Warren Schow and Theron Jensen spoke. Bishop Cottam Cot-tam gave the closing remarks. Calvin Schow offered the benediction benedic-tion and Warren Schow dedicated the grave at the Escalante Cemetery. Ceme-tery.
