Show Funeral Services For Frank Lay Funeral services for Franklin Ellis Lay, 71, were held In the Escalante North ward chapel on Dec. 15th with Starns Mecham conducting. Family prayer, Doyle V. Burial was in the Escalante Ceme tery under the direction of Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary. Mr. Lay died of natural causes Dec. 12 at home. He ms born May 29, 1891 in Escalante to John Taylor and Rachael Ellen Wiltbank Lay. On April 14, 1909 he married Maggie Davis in Escalante, the marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Mr. Lay was a retired fanner. Survivors: widow; son, daughters: Chester, Mrs. Oth: ello (Roena) Barney, Escalante; Mrs. Ben (Melba) Nei-wert, Burley, Idaho; 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; brother, sister: Joseph C, Warden, Wash.; Mrs. Jane L.
