Show Phone Directory Near For HanksviUe Areas HANKSVILLE Mountain Bell customers in the Hanksville area will soon be getting new directories, according to residence manager Bill Baker. A pastroal mountain woodland scene highlights the cover of the 1980 phone book, due to be mailed Hanksville customers beginning March 10. Baker says 23,000 books will be distributed. The new directory has one more white page and 23 more yellow pages than last year's book. Even though there are more listings in the white pages, use of a new type style enables Mountain Bell to reduce paper requirements and printing costs. With the larger, clearer "Bell Centennial" type style, more listings can be printed on the same amount of paper, states Baker. He notes the new directories again contain the special "Consumer Information Guide" within the call guide section at the front of the book. The consumer guide provides helpful information in-formation on such things as service options and payment procedures. Other parts of the call guide offer tips on saving money on long distance calls, dealing with annoyance an-noyance calls, and the numbers to call for service assistance. Generally, a single directory will be delivered to each residence customer. Baker says additional directories are available to those who request extra books. Residential customers who do not receive a directory by March 17 should contact Mountain Bell's Phone Center Store Business Office in Price. Business customers should call 1-331-8212, toll free, if they do not receive a directory or if they need additional books. |
