Show One Car Rollover Claims Life Of Escalante Youth "- ywwrw. l,crK ('! ; ' t --- i fit.- , .-. 5 CANNONVILLE A 16-year-old Escalante youth was killed late Friday in a one-car rollover a mile and a half east of Cannonville on Utah Highway 12. Officers identified the victim as Brad C. Coughling, son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Coughlin, Five-C Ranch, Escalante. Actual cause of the accident is yet undetermined but it is believed Coughlin lost control of the vehicle, over corrected and rolled the auto numerous times. Coughlin was thrown from the vehicle sustaining multiple injuries and was treated at the scene by EMT's Joe Thompson and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Reynolds then transported to Garfield Memorial Hospital in Panguitch. The youth died shortly after arriving at the hospital. Coughlin had attended Sevier Valley Tech at Richfield. Services will be held at the Mark B. Shaw Mortuary in San Bernardino, California where interment will also take place at the Mountain View Cemetery. The Coughlins are former residents of San Bernardino.
