Show .1 I Obituaries Madalene Barney Middleton LOAPANGUITCH Our beloved be-loved angel mother, Madalene Barney Middleton, age 71, of Loa, and formerly of Panguitch passed away on Mar. 15, 1998. She was born Sept. 16, 1926 in Hatch, to Elliot and Velma Sandin Barney. Madalene married George R Middleton on Mar. 14, 1946. The marriage was solemnized Nov. 14, 1946 in the St. George LDS Temple. He preceded her in death Feb. 11, 1996. Madalene dedicated her life to serving others and was loved by everyone who knew her. She was a great example and inspiration to all. Madalene suffered with many illnesses throughout her life, however, how-ever, she remained positive and always had a beautiful and special spe-cial smile. She was very family oriented and loved being with her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Among her many talents she was an accomplished oil paint artist and a fantastic homemaker. She was an active member of the LDS Church where she served in many callings. She was preceded in death by her father Elliot Barney and beloved be-loved husband George H. Middle-ton. Middle-ton. Funeral services will be held Friday, Mar. 20, 1998 at 1 p.m. in the Panguitch 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, 200 North 400 East. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the ward chapel in Panguitch on Friday from 1 1 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Panguitch Cemetery. Daniel Asay Tebbs PANGUITCH Funeral services serv-ices for Daniel Asay Tebbs were held on Tuesday, Mar. 10, 1998 at the Panguitch LDS Stake Center with Bishop Kelly Holman, Panguitch Pan-guitch 4th LDS Ward officiating. The family prayer was given by Daniel Craig Tebbs. Prelude and postlude music was presented by Holly Miller Jones. A musical selection, "O My Father," was offered by grandchildren, grand-children, accompanied by Holly Miller Jones. The eulogy was given by Glen Tebbs Hale, followed by remarks from J. Daniel Tebbs, Victor Louis Tebbs, James, Michael Gottfredson and Bishop Kelly Holman. A medley of songs was offered by Holly Miller Jones. The men's choir sang "How Gentle God's Command," accompanied ac-companied by Holly Miller Jones. The benediction was offered by Robert Vaughn Judd. Pallbearers were Glen Tebbs Hale, Brent Jonathan hale, Jason Daniel Hale, Daniel Craig Tebbs, Douglas Joseph Tebbs, Kent Michael Mi-chael Gottfredson, Daniel Tebbs Gottfredson, Steven Martin Gottfredson, Matthew Arthur Gottfredson, Jeffery Scott Tebbs, Aaron Asay Tebbs, Micah Kenneth Ken-neth Tebbs, Matthew Robert Tebbs, Shawn McKay Tebbs, Chrisitan Taylor Tebbs, Jonathan Kent Miller, Jared Tebbs Miller, Daniel Peter Miller, Andrew Scott Miller, David Robert Judd, Jed Downing Judd, Bradley Tebbs Judd, Samuel Vaughn Judd. Burial was in the Panguitch City Cemetery and the dedication of the grave was offered by Kent Louis Miller. Compassionate Services were rendered by the Panguitch 4th Ward Relief Society Sister. Funeral directors: Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield. Wanda Luke Wilson RICHFIELD Wanda Luke Wilson, 89 of Richfield, passed away Mar. 7, 1998 in Nephi, after a lingering illness. She was born in Kingston, Jan. 9, 1909 to William J. and Lavenia Allen Luke. She married George D. Wilson, Sept. 16, 1938 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Mar. 18, 1990. They lived in Hatch for many years where they operated a service serv-ice station during this time the "Cold War" was on. Inside the service station on the counter was a sign which said: "In case of Atomic Attack- pay bill then run like hell". They moved to Sevier County and built a home on the Glen-wood Glen-wood road. After many years, they sold the Glenwood Road home and built a new home in . Richfield to be closer to medical and shopping services. She is survived by brothers, R. Dwain and wife Shirley Luke and Darrell and wife Beth Luke, both of Kingston, and a sister, Utahna Butler of Mesa, Ariz. She is pre-ceded pre-ceded in death by her husband and an infant son. Those who remember Wanda in her younger years will remember remem-ber her as a pretty, dark-haired girl with a very pleasing personality. personal-ity. We love you, Wanda. Leland Riggs, Hatch Ward Bishop officiating. The family prayer was given by Sammy Luke and prelude music mu-sic was played by Ilene Braken. Tributes were given by Utahna Butler, a sister and Dwain Luke, a brother. Remarks were made by Bishop Leland Riggs, followed by a musical selection, "Abide With Me, Tis Eventide" and the benediction bene-diction was offered by Ramon Porter. Postlude music was played by LeAnn Fox. Pallbearers were Gaylen Luke, Sammy Luke, Steven Luke, Mar-lin Mar-lin Fox, Frances Porter, John Bracken. Burial was in the Hatch Cemetery. The family prayer was offered by Russell Bulkley and prelude and postlude music was played by Chaunette Marsh and Cindy Guy-mon Guy-mon (great-granddaughters). The invocation was offered by Jim Guymon the Panguitch 3rd Ward Choir sang. Tributes were given by Judi Roe (granddaughter) and by Cindi Stout (granddaughter). The granddaughters granddaugh-ters sang, accompanied by Chaunette Marsh and Cindy Guymon. Guy-mon. Vee Worthen was a speaker and remarks were made Bishop Del Hulet. Doug Bickley sang "Whispering Hope" and the benediction benedic-tion was offered by Marilyn Bulk-ley. Bulk-ley.
