When we all were arriving, there was a group of ladies playing violins. They were from a group called Vivaci from Circleville. It was Connie Heap and her daughters Megan, Erin and Marissa. The ladies and their music were very beautiful, and we thank them very much. Mr. Maloy Dodds, Board of Trustee Chairperson for Garfield Memorial Hospital gave the welcome address. Mr Dodds welcomed everyone who could make it out for the ground breaking. He announced who won the bid for the construction and that is Arnell-West of Salt Lake City. Mr. Dodds introduced Chris Coons, Vice President Southwest Region Intermountain Healthcare and he spoke about the Intermountain partnership with Garfield Memorial Hospital and that the goals to provide the best customer service and patient care are the same for both parties of the partnership.
