Steers: Large Frame 3 -200-300 lbs These kids are doing a great job with their young horses and are progressing with 94.00-124.50; 300-500 lbs scarce; 500them at each show. The classes on Saturday's show were somewhat the same as Friday's but were a little more advanced. The classes youth participated in were Test, Halter, Western Pleasure, Western Equitation, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending and the Gymkhana Gig. In the Junior age group (3rd-5th grade) there were 8 participants. Bret Brooks who received 2 blue and 5 red ribbons. Lindsey coleman 2 red and 5 white. Jared Noyes 5 blue and 2 red. Miles Austin 3 red, 3 white and 1 orange. Lindsey Phillips 3 blue. 3 red and 1 white. Audrey Austin 3 blue, 1 red, 2 whites and 1 orange. Wyatt Phillips 1 blue, 3 red, 2 white, and 1 orange. And Karlee Lilteral 5 red and 2 white. In the Intermediate age group (6th-8th grade) there were 6 participants. Zoee Johnson who received 4 red and 3 white. Kelsie Nelson 1 blue, 4 red and 3 white. Dawz Cochran 2 blue, 4 red and 1 white. Ryan Brooks 4 blue and 3 red. Benny Carrizosa 6 white and 1 orange. And Cassidy Litteral 6 blue and 1 red. In the Senior age group (9th-12th grade) there were 4 participants. Tim Colton who received 1 blue, 2 red and 3 white. Cru Cochran 3 blue, 3 red and 1 white. Justin Porter 2 blue and5 red. And Dalton Lisonbee 2 blue, 4 red and 1 white. All the youth did awesome with their horses in the individual classes. The ribbon points youth received from the horse show in Panguitch on the 13th of May are accumulated with this horse show and also two more shows to determine the overall winners for each age group in each class. That means these horse shows mean a lot to youth come the end of the year. If you would like to come and support our youth at their next 4-H Horse show it will be July 14th and 15th @ the Rocking Wine Bar Ranch in Lower Boulder. The 2-handed show will be the 14th 'starting at 7 pm and the Individual show will be the 15th starting at 9 am.
