Show HUNTINGTON The general public was taken by surprise a few days ago when the wedding of Miss Bertha Brasher to Mr. Gerald R. Leonard was announced. The ceremony was performed at Castledale Castle-dale by Justice Richard Miller, Monday, Mon-day, February 3d. A reception was given in the afternoon by the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Brasher. The guests began arriving at four o'clock, and the reception room and parlor were soon filled with a merry throng. The bride was very beautiful in her white satin gown which was draped with crepe dechine. Both bride and groom wore white sweet pea blossoms. blos-soms. The presents were many and valuable. About 150 persons sat down to the very excellent supper of well prepared and nicely served food. Mr. Leonard gave a dance at night, and the hall wjs filled with friends all joining in wishing the newly wedded pair success suc-cess and happness. |
