In Impromptu, Andrea Cox took third, Kelsee Anderson, fourth, and Michelle Johansen, fifth. Abe Bawden placed fourth in Student congress along with Erik Pyper who placed third in Student Congress and received the award for Best Chair. fourth. The total score earned for Emery High overall was aft amazing 78 points! This is the first time the EHS Speec h and Debate Team has taken Region since becoming a 3A school. ' . The team is looking forward to the State Speech and Debate Tournament being held in St. George.
