Show TEN MEN ASSIGNED TO DEPT. OF HIGHWAYS Ten men and the project engineer have been assigned to the office of the State Department Depart-ment of Highways, at the Duchesne office in the courthouse. court-house. Myron Taylor, project engineer, assigned to the Indian Ind-ian Canyon project, states these men are Weston Despain and Robert Gunter, instrument men; Emmett Hall, levelman; J. Ferron Hacking, laboratory technician; Gordon Peterson, Albert Harris, and Woodrow W. Day, rodmen; Leland H. Brown, chainman; Lloyd Grant, chief of party; and Edwin Carman, inspector of highways. All are married men with families with the exception of Peterson and. Brown. Most of these men worked here with the state road works three years ago, and then were assigned to other locations when the state road office was closed at the courthouse. It is possible two more former for-mer Duchesne men may be reassigned to the state road office here son Mr. Taylor stated. |
