Bait was given the edge but reports show the wet fly is doing fair and may be good within a week. Ray Jones and Gans Durrant report that the fishing down low is poor. We wish to thank the boys for their fine behavior on the streams. Budge Wilcox reports that the boys were careful not to spook the cattle and he welcomes these good sportsmen on the stream. FISH LAKE Fair, Mackinaw trout or lake trout are biting fine. Use heavy tackle and fish deep. Ask a warden to point out the nack-run- s. Buck Young reports fly fishing becoming good. In 1925 Utah had deer hunters in the field with a buck deer kill of 1,400. In 1948 we had 95,073 hunters with a buck kill' of 53,526.
