Show DIXIE OWL High School Debators V Dixie vs. B. A. C. Question; Resolved: That the several states should establish a schedule of minimum wages for unskilled employees, constitutionality waived. WALLACE JONES Oar Dsbators Are you interested in debating work? If you are you are aware ere now that La Verd Watson and Donald Pymin have been chosen from the college to debate with California, and that Robert Miles and David Woodbury were selected to represent them in a debate with the B. Y. U. at Provo. Chester Snow and Wallace Jones have been chosen as one of the high school teams, the other team to be cho-efrom contestants who try out on February, seventh. A number of debates have been arranged for these high school debaters with Murdock and the B. A. C. The question for both high school and college is: Resolved, that the several states should adapt a schedule of minimum wages for unskilled laborers, constutionality waived. The teams selected are now hard at work and have started with a determination to win more honors for our Dixie. Let us nine them ltahs. give n The school is giving a gold medal for the best oration in a contest to be given on Washingtons birthday. The subjects are to be chosen from some phase of Lincolns or Washingtons life, on patriotism or American spirit. A large number of students intend to enter to compete for the honor.
