Show DIXIE OWL t&ty&ttc pixies music personified Music One of the best musical productions St George has ever witnessed was the Oratorio the Nativity given on December the twenty first, by Professor ,1. W. McAllister, his chorus and the school orchestra. The Tabernacle was most beautifully decorated with Christmas trees, an electric star and other appropriate decorations. Professor McAllister and his class worked very hard to produce this Oratorio and it certainly was a credit to the institution. The large number of voices blended perfectly and the solo parts were well rendered. The complete orchest ration was composed by Professor Earl I leak and all present know bow excellent it was. The large appreciative audience carried home with them the true Christmas spirit after listening to that splendid production. The school is very fortunate in having a man like Mr. McAllister in charge of the music departHe is a man who has ment. worked hard and faithfully for the interests of the school and town, and has been the means of ""T f Dramatics On the night of January third our College Dramatic Club, under the direction of Miss Marie Her Own Clark, presented to an Way appreciative audience To in the Dixie Opera house. ask was the play a success, would be a foolish question; better say, did the Dixie Dramatic Club ever put on a play that was not a success.
