Show THE SAMPLER . Friday, April 9, 1982 fishing areas throughout Utah otf Plenty jpirtts One thing that Utah has plenty of is fish, 54 different species to be exact. With Dugway continuing to work the four-da- y week there is ample time for fishing enthusiasts to go out and catch a few. Among the 54 different species of freshwater fish found in the waters of Utah twenty of these are game fish which are managed by the Utah State Division of Wildlife Resources. They include rainbow, cutthroat, German brown. Eastern brook, golden and lake trout; kokanee salmon; rayling; Bonneville cisco; crappie; largemouth, small-mout- h, striped and white bass; walleye; whitefish; bluegill; northern pike; yellow perch and channel and bullhead catfish. Many waters contain other, species of fish which are not considered game fish and have no limits set on them. Hot to get a license Getting a fishing license isnt very difficult but it could pay for most new arrivals to wait until they have at least six months (if you are not a resident of Utah) in the state. This is how long it takes to get residency. A license for a resident between the ages of 16 and 65 is $10.50 while someone buying a nonresident license would pay $35. For anglers between the ages of 12 and 16 a resiit costs dent license costs $4.50, for a non-reside- nt $30. Having the Dugway Wrestling Team places eight By SP4 Tim Karas The Dugway Elementary Wrestling Team ended their season on a positive note. Eight wrestlers placed in the top three positions of their weight classes last Saturday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Tooele High School. Taking first place were Rick Miller, 3rd grade, Eugene Kingery, 5th grade, and Troy Jorgensen, 6th ' grade. Kingery and Jorgensen were the for the team. To take first place, the wrestlers had to wrestle anywhere from three to six matches apiece. Troy Jorgensen had to gp six victorious matches before taking first place. The only medals given were to the first place finishers. All other wrestlers received a ribbon for parti co-captai- in tourney cipating. Wrestlers placing second were Derrick Larson, 1st grade, Tom Kingery, 2nd grade, and Joel Painter, 4th grade. Taking third place were Daniel Morgan, 2nd .grade and Jason Iverson, 3rd grade. Even those not placing in the three top positions of their class got their share of wrestling. Each wres- tler had to lose twice before being eliminated, said Len Zigment, head wrestling coach. Besides Zigment, others helping make the wrestling program a success were Jim Bungard, Tim Karas, and the Segura family. In the future, the wrestling program should pick up. This was our first year as a team, but wait until next year, said Zigment. -260 Time to Shape Up for Summer DDgjg JDDMCg SPORT plate holders, the weight lifters can stack the different size weights without them getting in their way. Weight lifting racks holding the weights will be bolted to the floor. Even the floor of the weight room will be new. The platform shall be approximately six inches higher than the old floor. Becuase of this work, the gym will probably be closed down for two days, said Arnold. Were going to have one weight room here in English Village and one down at Ditto. That way the people will not hve to swing back and forth during their lunch breaks, Arnold said.
