Dugway to Sea to re Special Weapons and Training (SWAT) team composed of memliers of Dufay's DOD Security Guard Force will lie one of the feature attractions of Tooele Army Depots Armed Forces Dav festivities tomorrow at the North Area of the Depot. The team will display SWAT w eapons and equipment and demonstrate rappelling techniques from a 40 foot overhead crane in Building 619 in the Depot's maintenance area. THERE WILL lie two main attractions to the day, neither of which would get off the ground if it werent for the cooperation of Major Wright and the crews of Michael Armv Airfield. . A Dugway UI11I1 Huey will lie lifting the Army's famous Golden Knights Parachute Demonstration Team on two occasions, one the .opening ceremonies at 10 a.m. and later as the graiul finale at 2:30 p.m. In addition to the Knights, memliers of the Utah National Guard's 19th Special Forces Group will MEMBERS OF the 2nd Bn, 508th Infantry, A 82nd Airborne who jumped into Dugway last Sunday (see story on page 7) will be there to demonstrate why their motto is Fury from the Skv". .Thev will have elements of the Division Artillery place a 105MM Howitzer in position and will display the Jeep mounted TOW missile and the DRAGON as well as all May 15, 1981 TEM5 Armed Forces Day tomorrow . v. . allow you to try your hand at firing blanks from an Machine Gun and the soldiers best friend the M-G- O r- -,' 4 r ;, ! . . . . ,s ; f - . - ' 4 !. FOR THE past several years, Dugway has helped Tooele celebrate the day rather than have two such close neighbors try and compete. This is an excellent opportunity for you to take the family to see the depot operation close up and see some of the truly elite memliers of the total Army in action. In addition to the Army exhibits, the Air Force GLCM Test Team will also be in Building 619 featuring an exhibit from General Dynamics with a video tape presentation on the Ground Launched Cruise Missile. Come see one of the biggest tests ever to lie held at DPG. Witt replied that she would personally bring the results back to Dugway as soon as they are compiled and hold another Town Meeting to inform the customers of the results.
