Show MR AN. MR AND MRS. JOHN H. HILL C. 60th Date Mr. and Mrs. John H. Hill of Clinton will observe their 60th wedding anniversary on Monday evening. Sept. 12, with immediate family members joining with them at a dinner party in Ogden. MR. AND Mrs. Hill were united in marriage on Sept. 12, 1917 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. Hill was born in Lay-toFeb. 7, 1896, a son of James H. Hill and Hannah Maria Carlos Hill and is the only member of the family still living. MRS. DENNIS A. Following a short wedding trip the newlyweds are now making their home in Orem as Mr. Moss plans to resume his education at Brigham Young University this fall. MR. AND Mrs. Jerntgan traveled to Utah for the marriage and reception of their daughter, vsb IN July of 1962 he accom- panied a large group of Utah farmers and businessmen on a good-witour to Europe, Russia and Poland. He is a High Priest and active member of the Clinton LDS Sixth Ward. He served on the Old Folks Committee for many years. Mrs. Hill is Clintons first native bride to observe a 60th wedding anniversary in Clin- Monument History Committee. She assisted in securing the monument plaque in June Fast East Jason Gunnard arrived on July 27 at Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City and weighed in at 7 lb 14 oz. He is their third child and third son. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Gunnard E. Anderson of Murray, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Farrell, Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Frank G. Coltanna, San Diego, Calif. Its now one of each for Mr. and Mrs. Clark B. Rampton with the arrival of a 7 lb. 13 oz. baby daughter on Aug. 24 at the McKay-De- e Hospital in Ogden. She will be named Corinne. The mother is the former Sherrie Whitman of nit Heights Layton. At home is Clark Whitman. 1 MRS. HILL was elected vice president of the first Davis County Farm Bureau Ladies Auxiliary January 1961 and elected secretary in Mr. and Mrs. Hill enjoy horseback riding. He was a member of the Davis County Mounted Sheriffs Possee. She was a charter member of the Rocky Mountain Ladies Riding Club of Ogden and a member of the Silver Spurs Riding Club of Murray. John and Clara won numerous trophies and honors in exhibition and contest riding in the pairs, barrel race and pleasure classes. THE COUPLE has one daughter, Mrs. Allen A. (Dorothy) Adams of Layton and two grandchildren, Mrs. C. Erland (Janice) Elmer of Salt Lake City, and Roger B. Child and Eliza Wright Child. Mr. Hill has been a farmer and stockman his entire life and still operates his own farm in Clinton. He is a director in the Fife Ditch Irrigation System.
