Show DAVIS COUNTY CLIPPER Seanie Obituaries Allyse Brown Seanie Allyse Brown, age two months, passed away in her sleep Sunday, Sept. Our beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather, Robert Grant Crawford, 74, of Bountiful, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 1993 at his home of cardiac arrest. Born April 14, 1919 in Manti to J. Grant and Ellen Mary n u k Crawford, he was raised in Manti and Price, graduating from Manti High School in 1937. He joined the Utah National Guard and attended Snow College. He was called to active service in 1941. He married June Davis of Richfield, Utah on Oct. 11, 1944. They were later sealed in the Manti LDS Temple. He served in the military for a total of 27 years, retiring as a Lt. Col. from the Air Force. His assignments included tours of M duty in the Aleutian Islands; Texas, Alabama; Greenland; Utah; Tokyo, Japan; and Spokane, Washington. After military service, he earned a teaching degree and taught high school math in Coeur d Alene, Ida. for five years, then worked for the LDS Church as the executive secretary of the Military Relations Committee until his retirement in Michael Garth and Sheri Ellen Gee Brown. Survived by counselor, and ward financial clerk for many years. He was currently serving a church service mission. His hobbies included traveling, camping and carpentry. He also enjoyed watching sporting events, particularly BYU football, and had a good sense of humor. He was a hard worker, a good companion, provider, father, and grandfather, and was by all who knew him. Taylor, Elk Ridge, Utah; R. Stephen (Keven) Crawford, Arlington, Tex.; and Marshall A. (Karin) Crawford, Denver, Colo.; 13 grandchildren; brothers, Ray L. (Edith) Crawford, Sierra Vista, Ariz.; Tuckett, Garth and Ada Brown. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 2 p.m. in the Farmington 2()th Ward, 1900 N. Summerwood Drive. Friends may call at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Tuesday evening from 9 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 12:45-1:4- 5 p.m. prior to services. Christensen, Layton; and one infant granddaughter. Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 20 in the Canyon Park Ward. Interment, Lakeview Cemetery. Come Katherine Jones Hart BOUNTIFUL 295-275- 1 died Sunday, Sept. 5, 1993 in Blanding, Utah after American high school students and was a computer whiz. He was a member of the LDS Church. being struck by lightning. John was gentle and kind, and John was born Feb. 18, 1975 in Monticello to J.L. and Mary Jarvis Thornton. He graduated from San Juan High School in 1993 where he was active in cross country, track, baseball and basketball. He was also on the track team fof yVSC. He loved the outdoors. Hij was an avid fisherman and huhter and had recently returned from a trip to Alaska with his was always helping others. He will be sorely missed by all. Survived by his parents; one sister, Jackie; three brothers, Nate, Brad and Mark; grandparents, Walter (Bud) and LuElla Thornton, Monroe; Vern and Gayle Christensen, Bountiful; many loving aunts and uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by grandfather, Joseph G. Jarvis; and cousin, Ricky Thornton. Funeral services were held Sepf. 9 at the Blanding North Chapel.
