Katie Layton Harris, a Gearfield resident for the past 76 years, was recently honored on the event of her 95th birthday. A party, consisting of family and close friends was held at the LDS Clearfield Fourth Ward. Mrs. Harris was born in Layton, a daughter of Jacob and Mary Ann Layton. She was married to Enoch Harris on March 11, 1903, and has resided in Gearfield ever since. Mr. Harris died completed August B 5, 1960. She has six living children: Wane Harris, Nean J.
