Hammon, Mark Hammon of Concord, Calif, and Amy Woodman a BYU student from San Bruno, Calif, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Stephens at the Stephens home in Ogden on Sunday. Sandridge Camp of DUP met at the home of Lucy Smith on Nov. 16, Kathryn Brady conducting. Plans for the Christmas social were made. It will be a luncheon at the home of Denise., Hammon on Dec. 17 beginning at 11:30 a.m. The1, lesson on "The Original Salt Lake Nineteen Wards was given by Denise Hammon. An interesting history was given by Lois Murdock of her grandfather, John Murray Murdock who emigrated here from Scotland. Present were Mrs. Brady, Mrs. Osmyn M. Wright, 81, of Henefer who did on Nov. 13 in the LDS Hospital was the brother "of Mrs. William (Evelyn) Burnett. He had lived in the Henefer area all his life. Funeral services were in the Henefer LDS Ward chapel on Nov. 17. Burial in the Henefer Cemetary. Guests of Dale and Norma Earl on Thanksgiving were their son Stan and his wife Mary their three children, Dale and Normas mothers Beatrice Miller and Eva Bateman of Ogden. Guests of the Ray Calls on Thanksgiving were son Jim and his four children, Mark Hammon a grandson of Concord, Calif, and Amy Woodman of San Bruno, Calif, who is attending BYU. Mark and Amy stayed with the Calls over the holiday. The Bill Coles spent Smith, Mrs. Hammon. Mrs. Murdock, Melba Wilcock, Flora Neibaur, Ruth Larsen, Norma Earl, Effie Goddard, Norma Dalton and Stella Workman a camp-- member who has been living in Glendale, Utah. She will spend the winter in our area. Michael Lester Bingham who died on Nov. 11 in Aurora, Colo, was a former Sunset resident. He had moved to Aurora from Sunset about a month ago and was killed in a motorcycle accident. While in this area he had worked for Gibbons Construction Co., in Colorado he was employed by a local removal service. He had served with the U.S. Air Force, a member of the LDS Church, a Clearfield and School Seminary graduate. His widow the former Emma Flint and a son and daughter survive Jeddy of salt Lake City. Nela and Lawrence Kimber spent Thanksgiving at the home of a daughter him. Mr. Thanksgiving in Garland with family members at the home of Evons parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Peterson. He was a member of the Sunset 2nd LDS Ward and was a high priest and ward executive secretary. He had served three stake missions and served an LDS mission to the Western States from 1949 to 1951. He was a past cubmaster and scoutmaster. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. Surviving are his widow of Sunset; two sons and two Brent daughters, Dale Reeve, Robert Keith Reeve, both of Sunset; Mrs. Paul (Elaine) Waite, Farmington, Utah; Miss Annette Reeve, Sunset. AIR HILL FORCE BASE Connie Traux, Federal Womens Program Manager ( FWPM) at Hill has been named as the Air Forces outstanding FWPM year. Mrs. Traux, a Clearfield resident, was cited by the Air Force for a number of programs that were judged unique and innovative. Programs included on-ba- se classes for women in minor automobile maintenance, taught by a representative others throughout the United States.
