The Second annual Homecoming will be held in Preston on August 3, in the Robinson Fair Building. The open house event will begin at 1 p.m. and continue all afternoon, according to chairman Mark Hart. This will be the day when former residents of Preston and Franklin county return for a renewal of memories. Because the homecoming will always be on the last day of Preston's rodeo Bill Struve of North Hollywood, a former resident, has called it the Oldtimers Roundup'. The relaxed format, the chairman has said, will fol- -' low last years precedent. Vocal music and old time jazz will be interspersed with visiting and short anecdotal speeches by former residents and their hometown friends. Plans are to rotate the M.C. chore around. Old-time- rs 19 IT IS HOPED that the Grand Old Man of the Oneida Stake Academy, Dr. Joseph A. Geddes of Boise, will be able to attend. Dr. Geddes, who retired years ago after a long tenure as head of the Sociology Department at U.S.A.C. (USU), served as principal at the Academy in Preston from 1914 till 1919.
