Show i College Ward Cows Test High in Fat Members of the South Cache dairy herd improvement association associa-tion met Thursday evening at the College Ward school house to hear and receive the annual report re-port of the tester, Preston Bren-chley, Bren-chley, for the year ending March 31, 1938. There were 501 cows in the association as-sociation with an average butter-fat butter-fat reoord of 297 pounds per cow. Three cows produced over 900. pounds of fat; 29 cows over 400 pounds; and 236 cows over 300 pounds of fat. Thirty-three herd averages were over 300 pounds of fat The average size of herds was 9.2 cows. I This is a good cord for-the association as-sociation and 'shows ;vabout 46 pounds of fat above the average of the cows' in the communities. This record is about. 40 pounds of fat below the average of the same association when it quit in i 1930. ..
