Show BRILLIANT GIRL DIES AT MANTUA friday afternoon miss evalyn jeppson daughter of at mr and mrs airs N P jeppson ot of mantua died at the family home from a complication of disorders with which she had been at af flirted for some time miss jepp jeppson aon was born in mantua 21 years ago and was perhaps the most brilliant young lady her home town or this county has ever produced it was said ot of her at the funeral services that she had such a strong mental capacity that it litera ally tore her body to pieces and the physique could not stand up under the terrific mental strain under which she tolled toiled and lived she had an insatiable desire to get knowledge and in tier her high school work in tills this city she completed the four years course in three years all but one hour she then entered the agricultural col hegt at logan and graduated this last spring alti high honors she was as an exceptional young lady and one of her teachers at the A C stated that he was not surprised when ho he learned that she had passed away because of the rea reasons solis given above in the ward in which she resided miss jeppson was as one or of tile the most prominent workers and because of tier her talents was a big help in the various organizations her demise cast a gloom over the entire community and at the funeral services which were held in the ward chapel yesterday afternoon ter noon the house was not large enough to contain all those who turned out to show their sympathy and pay a tribute of respect to the memory of the deceased I 1 the stand was waa decorated in white and flowers while set floral emblems on the stand all but hid the audience from those occupying seats there bishop P C johnson was in charge of the exercises and beautiful eulogies were spoken by bishop johnson til ephraim jensen C M Jen jensen seft hervin bunderson prof NA N A peter sen and dr R 0 porter of the A C U faculty and victor E madsen the songs rendered by the choir were the hymns shall I 1 receive a welcome tome home though deepening Deep ning trials trial and home sweet I tome home between speakers emit emil jeppsen sang 1 I know that my redeemer lives and victor E madsen sang lot let Us oft speak kind words the prayers were offered by ole olsen oisen and com rad jeppsen there was a long cortege accompanying the remains re mallas to the cemetery on the hillside six girl friends of tile the deceased acted as pall bearers |
