The sale will begin 12 noon and will feature all homemade items such as pies, cake, cookies, candy and baked beans. In charge of the affair is Mrs. Lola Stewart. The team will participate with other drill teams in the state at the Provo event. Vail, engine-mathird class, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin J. Vail of 520 Fifth South, Brigham City. Before entering the Navy in March of this year, he attended Box Elder High school. Miss Cook is a member of Alpha Lambda, has served as vice president of Y Calcares, junior womens service unit, and is a Gleaner leader and member of the genealogy committee fn North Campus Branch. She is an elementary education major. and Miss Wood, - a speech dance major, was a Y Calcare and is an active member of dance organization, has participated in several campus dramatic productions and is on the student program bureau. It is directed by Alvin Friends for Help i Mr. and Mrs. Keith Petbingill and family, whose Harper ward home was completely destroyed by fire recently, express their thanks td the entire community for the assistance given them since the disaster. Listed among the many who aided are neighbors dn the Harper ward, who through Bishop Joseph Yates, contributed $123 and did much of the work in clearing away the debris left by the fire. The Harper Relief society as- sisted by making two quilts from materials donated by Herman Grunig, who also supplied their son Dennis with a coat. The Harper ward Mutual gave a benefit for the young boy, furnishing clothes to replace his personal wardrobe which was destroyed in the blaze. The Veterans of Foreign Wars past and Auxiliary unit gave a linen shower for the couple and contributed $58. Fellow workers at Utah General Depot, Ogden, where Mr. Pettingill Is employed, come to his assistance with a $392 Also appearing will be the termediate band, composed of students with a little training last year and the beginners band, which was organized last fall for the first time. Several special numbers will round out the hour-lonprogram, including a cornet solo by Alvin Dickman and a vocal number by Lee Brewer.
