Show DR, GEORGE PAGE DIESJjiOSPITAL The community was shocked to learn of the death Monday in a Salt Lake City hospital of Dr. George W. Page, prominent Bingham Bing-ham dentist, who had been ill with colitis for about two months. He was 43 years of age, and a respected respect-ed and beloved resident of Bingham for the past four years. He became ill early in January and was taken to Salt Lake City where he lingered for several weeks before the end came. His practice here was taken care of by Dr. Bennion. Ben-nion. Funeral services were held at the Deseret Mortuary Thursday at 1 p. m. and interment was made in the Cedar cemetery at Payson. Dr. Page was born February 19, 1893, at Payson, the son of Jona-thon Jona-thon and Lillyus Curtis Page. Dr. Page was a world war veteran and was prominently identified in Utah educational circles prior to the time he became a practicing dentist in educational circles prior to the time he became a practicing dentist in 1928. He was principal of the Grants-vllle Grants-vllle high school from 1918 to 1923 and served as a board member of the Tooele L. D. S. stake for four years. He was head of the department depart-ment of agriculture of the North Sanpete high school at Mt. Pleasant, and received his A.B. degree from the Brigham Young university at Provo. He was graduated from the University of California dental college, col-lege, and practiced in Salt Lake City and in Bingham-I Bingham-I He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Irene ' Wrathall Page, and one daughter. Miss Janice Maryon Page. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Ella Lerwill, Mrs. May Harding, Mrs. Eva Wanlass, Mrs. Anne Robinson, Arza C. and Earl L. Page. |
