Torkelson and Mrs. Horace Snyder were in charge 6f the dining room and were assisted as-sisted by Muss Florence Torkel-son, Torkel-son, little Carlene Snyder and members of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. Sorority members were in charge of the gift room. Spring tlowers, ferns and lighted white; tapers in candelabra were about! I the rooms. Organ music was played throughout the reception j bv Miss Summerhays. Both young people are students at the University of Utah where j I the bride is affiliated with Alpha ; Chi Omega and the bridegroom is a Sigma Chi. MAHY LOUISE LYON BRIDE OF MARCH 22 Saturday, in a morning ceremony, cere-mony, Miss Mary Louise Lyon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David C. Lyon, became the bride of Earl D. Tanner, son of Mr. and Mrs. De Onge W. Tanner of Og-den. Og-den. The marriage was solemnized solemniz-ed in the Salt Lake LDS temple by President Burton of the temple tem-ple presidency. At the reci ; tion held that evening ev-ening at the "Garden Park LDS ward, the bride was lovely in white satin fashioned with a peplum waist falling into a very lull train and high neckline. Her full length veil of imported bride's illusion fell from a seed pear tiara and she earned I bouquet bou-quet of white roses centered with an orchid. Mrs. David R. Lyon was her sister-in-law's matron of honor, Mrs Heher C. Petersen was attending at-tending matron and Miss Zola Tanner was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the Misses La-Fawn La-Fawn and Shirley Graff. Mrs. Lyon wore a gown of soft pink and the other attendants were |
