Show Fernley-Nielson Marriage Date Set Mrs. Harold Beck was hostess at an announcement breakfast given Sunday at the home of her mother, Mrs. S. E. Fernley, 862 Diestel road, Salt Lake City, for her sister, Miss Lois A. Fernley, whose marriage to Guy Nielson, 101 Eighth East street, Salt Lake City, will be an event of June 22 in the Salt Lake L.D.S. temple. A reception will follow in the evening ev-ening at the Lion House social center. A bridal theme was carried out in decorations and places were marked for Miss Fernley, Mrs. Harold Kitterman, Mrs. John C. McCausland, Mrs. Carl H. Ro-sell, Ro-sell, Mrs. Albert G. Miller, Miss Myrtle L. Checketts, Miss Wilva Coles, Miss Reahan Smith, Miss Virginia Colyar, Miss Fern Walton Wal-ton and Mrs. Harold Nordberg of Copperton. Two cousins of the bride, Miss Jean and Miss Lucille Ramsey, assisted the hostesses. Miss Checketts Check-etts and Miss Colyar sang and Miss Coles played the piano during dur-ing the breakfast. Miss Fernley attended schools in Copperton and is a former University of Utah student. Mr. Nielson will graduate from the University in June. Friends of the bride are plart- ning a number of social events in her honor at their homes in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Nordberg will entertain at Copperton at a stocking shower June 18, for Miss Fernley. Bouquets of bridal wreath centered cen-tered small tables last Friday when Mrs. Forrest Adams was hostess to her bridge club. Luncheon Lunch-eon was served eight and bridge prizes given Mrs. A. E. Mitchell and Mrs. S. J. Granauist. j Last Friday evening Mrs. Mar- lin Eden entertained her bridge i club. Mrs. Louis Chase and Mrs. Elwood Johnson won prizes. The club is meeting tonight with Mrs. Loren Stokes for the final session ses-sion until next autumn. , . i |
