Edwards, Mrs. Frank Mine School Students Here Oarfleld, Magna and Bingham have again been chosen as the stopping places lor the annual min-in- g and metallurgical Inspection tour of Junior and senior students of the Colorado School of Mines, It was an-nounced today by President M. 1 Collhaugh of the School' of Min.s., The itinerary of the trip reveals that more than half of the two wet If s Inspection trip will be spent in in-specting mines, mills and smelters in the vicinity of Salt Lakt. City. The students will arrive at the Garfield Hotel at noon Friday, Mcii. 23rd, after devoting the morning to an Inspection of the Magna mill. The afternoon will be spent at the Gar- - field Smelter. The party plans to leave here at about four o'clock, leaving by bus for Salt Lake City, headquarters. The tour is In charge ofProf. S. P. Warren associate pro-fessor of metallurgy, assisted by the Prof. Thomas M. Bains, associate professor of mining and Prof. A. S. Adams, assistant professor of metal-lurgy. Prof. W. P. Huleatt Is business macager of the trip. The group, consisting of thirty students and four professors, will ar-rive In Salt Lake City on Wednes-day, March 21, and will make head-quarters at the Utah metropolis until Tuesday, March 27. The party comes to Salt Lake from Belden, Colo., and the next stop after Salt Lake Is Pu-eblo, Colo. The trip starts Sunday, March IS, when the Party will leave Denver on a special car which will be the head-quarters of the group during the two weeks tour. Wednesday afternoon, March 21, the Utah Copper Co. properly will be inspected and the next day will bej devoted to a tour of the Utah Apex, f Utah Delaware and U. S. Smelting Co. mines at Bingham. Friday the group goes to Magna to inspect the Magna Mill and to Garfield to inspect the Garfield smel-ter.'
